SUNSET Issue 01

THREE IF BY AIR

"Nathaniel, our protagonist, is described with detail and skill. I felt all of his highs and lows with him. All of his triumphs and his defeats. If he sometimes comes off as larger than life due to his adventures, his humble attitude brings us back to the realities of war. He is our link to this strange new history. 4/5" - Books Are Better Fantasy Book Reviews

THREE IF BY AIR

"The story has two main elements; a romantic element with Nathanial and Constance' forbidden love and an alternative history/fantasy element. Koepke does a good job in balancing the two. Naturally comparisons will be made to Naomi Novik's work and like Novik, Koepke does an excellent job in matching the narrative to the time period concerned. 8/10" - CS Fantasy Reviews

THREE IF BY AIR

"Three good stories in one book! Revolutionary war, air battles and a good love story. An excellent first novel at a no risk price. 5/5" - Van (from Amazon.com)

THREE IF BY AIR

"Three If By Air is an excellent read. The gliders (carefully detailed and thought out using 18th century technology) bring the reader into a fantastical and new historical period. I did find myself wanting to read more about Nathaniel and Constance's story rather than the air battles; nevertheless, I enjoyed the book very much. 5/5" - Becky (from Amazon.com)

THREE IF BY AIR

"I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end and I liked how the author introduced air planes into the war for Independence. It's intersting to see how things would've changed if certain events in this story took place and how much farther we would be with aviation tech. Basically I recommend it to anyone who loves a good Alternate History book and a good war book. It would be intersting if this book was made into a film or series. 5/5" - trekprime (from Amazon.com)

SUNSET

"Tonight I had the chance to read issue 1, billed on the cover as an 'Oversized First Issue'.  The storyline by writer Patrick Koepke teases the reader with just enough information about heroes Crossfade and Fusion, their powers and their situation, to whet the appetite for more issues." - ComicsOnline

SUNSET

"SUNSET #1 has a lot going for it. Dynamic art by Robert P. Seavello. An interesting premise from writer Patrick Koepke...This is a fine first effort...and a nice alternative to mainstream super hero books." - Ain't It Cool News
